At the end of November, the world marched for the climate as government representatives from around the globe met in Paris to reach an agreement to reduce global carbon emissions, probably our last chance to avert catastrophic climate change in the decades to come.
Hundreds of thousands of people took part in hundreds of events to send these leaders a clear message that this urgent issue must be taken seriously, despite the lobbying of fossil fuel companies and other vested interests.
In Frome, there was a lively march through town to show our support for positive action on climate change, and many of us also made the trip to Bristol or London to join the crowds there. Climate change will affect all of us and, in the wake of Paris, it's essential that we continue to work together to achieve real action on the climate.
